FoodTruck Privacy Policy
FoodTruck stores the data needed to run truck discovery, driver tools, account access, claims, pickup requests, and support.
Data we collect
We may collect names, emails, phone numbers, account role, favorite trucks, selected customer location, driver claim evidence, truck profile data, menu data, schedules, live truck locations, pickup request details, catering request details, and audit logs.
Location data
Customers can save a preferred location to filter nearby trucks. Drivers can publish live truck locations so customers can find them. Location data is used for discovery, distance filtering, operational health, and logging.
Email and push messages
We use email for account, claim, pickup request, catering request, and verification messages. Push tokens may be stored so the mobile app can receive request and truck updates after notification delivery is configured.
Service providers
FoodTruck is built for Cloudflare hosting and D1 data storage. Resend or another email provider may deliver transactional emails. The iOS app does not process purchases, checkout, payments, refunds, or subscription management.
Retention
Operational records are retained while needed for service, compliance, fraud prevention, support, and audit history.
Account deletion
Signed-in mobile users can delete their account from the account screen in the FoodTruck or FoodTruck Business iOS app. Deletion removes mobile sessions, saved identity, favorites, selected customer location, push tokens, and claim contact data. Operational request or audit records may be retained without account identity when needed for service records, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or support history.
